Women groove to Salman Khan’s song in Cambodia’s forest
Bollywood masala movies and songs have fans across cultures and distant places. There have been several viral videos of people from different countries who don't even understand Hindi, dancing to Bollywood tunes. Recently, one such incident surprised a man when he saw a group of Cambodian women matching steps to a song from the 90s in the interior of a forest.
The video that is going viral on Twitter shows a group of women dancing gracefully to the Bollywood star Salman Khan’s 1999 film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ song ‘Mhare Hiwda Mein Nache'in front of an ancient temple. The video shared by Amit Bansal, a retired Army major who recently visited Cambodia, was amused to hear the Hindi song being played in the background.
In the post, Bansal informs us that the video was shot at a small village in the interiors of Phnom Kulen National Park on top of Mahendragiri mountain. "A small village in the interiors of Phnom Kulen National Park on top of Mahendragiri mountain in #Cambodia where i reached after a long trek. Villagers are dancing in front of a sacred temple (Probably Vishnu) on tunes of Bollywood songs," he captioned the post.

The video went viral and Desi netizens were pleased to see that Bollywood music has taken over the continents. "Bollywood ki Jai ho," wrote one user, another said, "Wow!!!"
