Congress President Rahul Gandhi has often asked what Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done in four years in power.
His question was answered today by BJP President Amit Shah, who said Modi is not answerable to Rahul Gandhi. Shah added that the people had given them the "right to be in power".
And that while Rahul asks Modi about the last four year, the "people are asking you (Rahul) about last four generations".
Shah added that the Narendra Modi government had "secured our borders" against a Pakistan which used to attack us "day and night".
And that "this government has placed India in a more respectful position before the world".

Shah was speaking at a "Vikas Yatra" (Development Rally) in Surguja in Chhatisgarh, which is one of three states going to the polls this year. The other two states are Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
All three states are currently ruled by the BJP. Political commentators however say the BJP also faces massive anti-incumbency in all three states.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh also spoke at the rally, saying his government — he has been in power now for 15 years — was providing proper road and rail connectivity to Surguja and that it would soon also have air connectivity.
"Hawai chappal pehnne walon ka hawai jahaz se safar karne ka sapna poora hoga," he said
